Family Sunday | February 2021

Enjoy KWAG Family Sunday all month long with your loved ones at home! Our art activities are now being offered virtually to support the safety and well-being of our community. A new collection of art-making demonstrations, educational videos, and activity worksheets, to view and download, will be launched at the beginning of every month. 

February 2021: Family Day

In anticipation of Family Day on 15 February, KWAG's Family Sunday activities for this month are inspired by your loved ones and encourage you to make art as a family.

Family Time Capsule

Follow along with our how-to video and get ideas for creating a personalized Family Time Capsule. Compile objects, images, messages and memories that represents your family in 2021.

This video will be available for online viewing starting Sunday 7 February.

Family Figure Drawing Workshop

Join us on Family Day for a free workshop, and create drawings of your loved ones to include in your Time Capsule. Learn various figure drawing techniques to capture movement, create form, and achieve realistic proportions. Gather the family and some drawing materials, and get ready to strike a pose for this virtual workshop, hosted on Zoom.

Suggested Materials:
-    Several sheets paper or a sketchbook
-    A variety of drawing materials such as pencils, coloured pencils, markers and pastels 

Story Time with KPL

Get ideas for what to read throughout the month with the Family Day Reading List, and bring the family together for a virtual story time video provided in collaboration with KPL.
