Summer Art Kit: Doodle and Draw

Drawing is a fun and essential skill for artists. Sign up to receive KWAG’s Doodle and Draw Summer Art Kit to learn a variety of drawing techniques, then put them all together to create your own masterpiece!
 
This kit contains:
-    A sketchbook with drawing prompts
-    A viewfinder
-    Sketching pencils & erasers
-    Newsprint
-    Drawing paper 
-    Stomp
-    Drawing Game

$20/kit. Kits will be available for pick-up starting Tuesday 7 July.

Pick up your prepaid kit at the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, located at 101 Queen Street North inside Centre in the Square  between 11am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday, or 1pm-5pm Sunday. Curbside pick-up is also available by appointment.

For additional instruction or to share what you’ve made, join our weekly drop-in Zoom classes to chat with an experienced Artist Educator. Drop-in classes will run every Thursday 16 July-13 August from 10:00-10:45 am.

Submit your artwork to be included in our Summer Art Camp online exhibition! Send an email to nsharp@kwag.on.ca with the following:

-    A photo of your artwork
-    Title of your artwork
-    First name and age

Parents: By emailing your photo and information, you are giving permission to the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery to exhibit your child’s artwork and provided information during the Summer Art Camp digital exhibition, which will be on view from 4 August -20 September 2020.

Your email submission will authorize the Gallery to use this artwork and information, should it so choose, for promotional, educational, and publicity purposes and allow for the reproduction of this work for these purposes only.
