Dry point belongs to a family of printmaking techniques that includes etching and engraving. Instead of making marks on paper with a pen, lines are cut into a printing plate and filled with ink, which is transferred to paper by an etching press. One plate can produce many impressions. In this workshop, participants will create a limited edition of original dry point prints. No experience necessary; all materials provided. Bring a visual reference (4 x 6 inch) if desired.
