Join heritage scholar Karolina Korsak for an afternoon discovering the tradition of pysanky – a wax-resist method of decorating eggs by layering beeswax and dyes. Learn about this intricate technique as you transform a simple egg into your own creation, and find out -- can pysanky really ward off evil spirits? 

Open to all skill levels; all materials provided, with additional tool kits available for purchase. 

Karolina Korsak is a doctoral student studying intangible heritage, which has brought her to examine transmission practices through both an academic and artistic lens.
