What was your first exposure to art?

My family was my first exposure to art. There were many "makers" around when I was a small child. Visual art, music and reading stimulate my creativity to this day.

What is your favourite thing about KWAG?

I love the programming at KWAG: from world-class exhibits, to engaging talks, tours, workshops and special events such as the Feast for the Senses evenings.

What would you tell someone about the Gallery if they had never been before?

Come to the Gallery with an open mind and an open heart, to learn and connect. KWAG is a place to engage with today’s important topics, and to learn and grow.

Which KWAG exhibition has had the biggest impact on you? Why?

I loved the Kent Monkman exhibit. It was bold, beautiful, and engaging. A look at the history of the world, and of our country, urging us to continue to look deeply, and respond wisely.
