"We liked the idea of a Mennonite quilting bee and how it brings people together for a common purpose. We used old materials (popsicle sticks) and repurposed them into collaborative art, just like when the Mennonites make a quilt. This art shows just a small section of the whole quilt, so we have to imagine what the whole might look like if the pattern cycle continued."
