Sarah Kernohan noted that as her sense of time has been obliterated over the past year, a routine of careful observation and drawing are now grounding practices to counter the endless images barrelling across her screen through daily news reports and happenings. The work created by these artists allows us to stop and spend time with this barrage: pausing the stream to examine a small frame, take a breath, and slowly move on to the next image.
