This past year has been defined by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our world changed drastically and we were left trying to cope. I struggled as I saw "normal" slip through my fingers, wondering about the future. This piece was created in direct response to the lockdowns and subsequent struggles. I think we've been taking this time to sit down and reflect on ourselves, thinking about what we value and how we treat others. Throughout these past few months, I have been comforted by the knowledge that life goes on. This too shall pass. One day, I'll look back and see where this experience has brought me. For now, I choose to live on.
