The song that I chose to cover is 'People Help the People' by Birdy. I thought the lyrics were so appropriate for what I was trying to get across. Even when we can't see or physically help others, we have all helped each other through these difficult times in other ways. I don't know what I would've done without my family and friends supporting me during the pandemic.
At the beginning of the video, the saturation is very low. As the video goes on, it becomes more colourful and happy. I feel that this represents quite accurately how we as people have had to change our point of view during COVID-19. At the beginning, we saw only the bad in the situation: lockdown, sickness, and the unknown. As the months have gone on, we have had to find the shades in between. The colour we've found has made this last year so much more bearable.
