As someone of Asian descent, specifically Vietnamese, I’ve been ignored, called names and joked around with because of my ethnicity and no one did anything. I wanted to show that not everyone thought that way but a lot of people did and still do and now their behaviours have been magnified with the current pandemic.

This piece is to help open peoples’ eyes and look at things differently. People have been hurt and killed in the recent events.

I am not a virus, neither are they, and I don’t appreciate being treated like one.
