Participants will be exposed to introductory leather working tips and be able to make their own small leather satchel out of moose split (suede).

Introduction to Leather Working

Saturday, 21 October
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Led by Brittney Baldwin
$45 + HST | 16 +

Core materials will be prepared in advance and participants will choose their accent beading on a first come, first served basis. A section of this workshop will include discussion about hand arts, ethical leather and how learning craft skills is a great tool to help create positive mental health pathways. No previous experience required. A minimum of five spots are reserved for Indigenous participants.
