The Garden of Resilience is back!
The Garden of Resilience offers individual plots for growing organic produce, flowers, and herbs — a living, breathing extension of the Gallery itself. Launching alongside the garden is Rooted, a free weekend of arts programming celebrating KWAG's milestone anniversary on May 23–24, 2026. Take part in the Seedling Exchange & Food Drive, pot decorating, a Youth Art Market, and more. Cap it all off with a free outdoor concert and picnic featuring Canadian indie soul/jazz band SHEBAD on Saturday evening.
KWAG celebrates its 70th anniversary
In 1956, a group of local visionaries from the art, business, and education sectors met to establish an art gallery in Kitchener-Waterloo. Today, KWAG cares for more than 4,400 works of art in the Permanent Collection– a special resource for the Waterloo Region and an incomparable gem in our community. As we look to the next 70, we’re asking our community to invest in what’s possible. This is more than a milestone—it’s a turning point. Make a donation today!
Summer Camp at KWAG
Get ready for an unforgettable and inspiring artistic adventure this summer with KWAG's Art Camp! Our weekly camps offer a wide range of artistic activities, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpting. Campers will use both traditional and contemporary techniques in a variety of media, express themselves, and connect with new friends in a supportive, encouraging environment!
