One Friday each month queer and trans youth are invited to a free, casual drop-in creative space to make and foster connection! This initiative is led by queer and trans facilitators, offering a brave space for teens to connect with their queer peers over creative interests and refreshments. Bring your own project or use our supplies to create artworks of your own!
Meet the facilitators:
Ike Karuna (they/them) is a lifelong artist and arts educator, who has been teaching children, youth, and adults for 20+ years. Their mixed-media practice centres on storytelling, and across conceptual, formal, and material explorations - from poetry and collage to printmaking and installation - you'll find repeating symbols, metaphors, and images.
