Join a dynamic group of local youth inspired to make art and connect with like-minded peers. Virtual sessions throughout the spring will include opportunities to learn from professional artists from Waterloo Region, create art and contribute to community art projects and events.
Throughout the spring session, youth will work together to design their own collaborative mural with help from professional artists in Waterloo Region. At the end of the spring session, Youth Council artists will paint and install their mural in downtown Kitchener.
Virtual sessions are hosted on Zoom every other Tuesday beginning 23 March to 15 June, from 4:00-5:00 pm. Youth Council members may meet outside for socially distanced mural painting in May and June depending on current COVID-19 guidelines.
Registration is required in advance to ensure access to our Zoom meetings.
