Emily Pelstring will join us at KWAG on Thursday 24 November at 7:00 pm for a free Artist Talk discussing her new solo exhibition, The Passion of the Hedge-Rider, curated by Darryn Doull.
Over the last several years, Emily Pelstring has created a number of media installations and artistic collaborations to summon and re-work symbols from religious texts, occult traditions and personal memories. Her newest work, The Passion of the Hedge-Rider, channels the figure of the hag to reconcile material and immaterial realms and re-evaluate the thresholds between technology, nature, body and spirit.
Join us for insight into Emily’s practice and a visit to the installation for discussion.
