Feast for the Senses 15 features Chef Destiny.
Chef Destiny is the owner of FoodZen, a personal chef and pre-made meal business in Waterloo Region. FoodZen's goal is to bring zen to busy family schedules, assist professionals in a better work/life balance and help seniors maintain their independence by providing locally made, healthy and delicious food.
As an Indigenous chef growing up surrounded by a farming family, Chef Destiny's focus is to create hyper-local and ultra-seasonal meals. Her farm-to-table approach supports many local businesses and favours whole foods over processed ones. She works closely with the Indigenous community and provides teaching and workshop experiences for others to learn about not only Indigenous food but about healthy eating, food sovereignty and sustainability.
In October 2022, Chef Destiny partnered with Bingemans to open Cedar Spoon Indigenous Catering. With Cedar Spoon, her goal is to showcase the Indigenous foods of Canada prior to the settlers while continuing her own healing and reconciliation journey.

Caitlin Campeau is a sommelier certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas and has been a hospitality professional for the past 20 years. She began her career in bartending and mixology, and garnered certifications in beer and most recently in wine. She opened the St. Regis Toronto in 2018, managing their flagship outlet Louix Louis. She then became the Wine Director for Common Hospitality Inc. in 2020, during which time she ran a weekly wine club at one of their restaurants and helped introduce many locals to wine culture. Currently, she is a sommelier and wine buyer for Provenance Wine Bar and Commissary. Caitlin focuses on buying and promoting wines from marginalized communities; Indigenous and female-produced wines are of particular interest to her. She would like to see the wine community shift more towards inclusivity and help make wine more accessible to the average person.
