Week 1 | Cultural Creations
Travel the world through art! This week, campers will explore how different cultures use materials and techniques to tell stories and sustain traditions. Working with textiles, natural materials, and a variety of specialized techniques, they’ll create meaningful artworks inspired by both global and local art practices.
Sign UpWeek 2 | All About Art!
From painting to printmaking, assemblage sculpture to collage, this week is all about exploring materials, methods, and history of art. Campers will try a wide range of techniques and discover new ways to combine them into exciting mixed-media artworks.
Week 3 | Eco Art Adventures
Care for the planet through creativity! Campers will explore how art connects to the environment by using low-waste processes, natural materials, and upcycled objects. Through a variety of projects, they’ll learn how artistic processes can reflect appreciation for the land and environmental sustainability.
Week 4 | Scaled Up!
Think big and build boldly! Campers will experiment with the foundations of sculpture, including scale, structure, materials, and modularity, through 3D artworks. Using techniques like casting, assemblage, relief, and modeling, they’ll explore different ways to bring their ideas into three dimensions.
Week 5 | Science in the Studio!
*Note that this is a 4-day week due to the Civic Holiday on Monday, 3 August.
Get ready to experiment! This week blends art and science through hands-on projects like cyanotypes and making ink from natural materials. Campers will explore how curiosity, chemistry, and creativity come together in the studio.
Week 6 | Stories in Art
Campers will use art to tell their own stories and imagine new ones! Through drawing, collage, printmaking, and simple book-making techniques, they’ll create visual narratives inspired by personal experiences and imaginary worlds.
Week 7 | Art That Works!
Campers will explore the exciting connections between art and design by creating one-of-a-kind objects that are both creative and useful. Using 2D and 3D processes like printmaking, bookbinding, sewing, and architectural modeling, they’ll discover how form and function can work together.
