Celebrating the Grand River: Churning currents, lapping futures x Ribbon Zine
Join us for a participatory celebration of two local projects in conversation with the Willow River: Churning currents, lapping futures at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery and Ribbon Zine by Ellie Anglin.
This community event will centre exploration and appreciation of the Willow River (colonially known as the Grand River) through a tour of Churning currents, lapping futures by KWAG programming staff, readings by contributors to Ribbon Zine, and a collaborative creative writing workshop and discussion circle as we collectively reflect on our relationship to local watersheds and our more-than-human neighbours.
Pick up a free copy of Ribbon Zine at KWAG on 9 August.
