 Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for youth opportunities at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery?

Goals:

-To enable local youth to see themselves in the Gallery, connecting with art in a personal and meaningful way
-To enable teens to connect to each other in a meaningful, personal and constructive way
-To enable teens to use the Gallery as a resource for learning
-To provide a permanent alternative voice at the Gallery, providing new perspective
-To increase teen attendance at the Gallery
- To give teen who are interested in the arts and humanities a head start on their careers through concrete volunteer experience and exposure to professionals in the Gallery.

Who Should Join?  

The Gallery is looking for students who are high school-aged, and who are passionate about the creative arts, interested in working in a gallery setting, enjoy working with their peers from diverse backgrounds and are able to make a year-long commitment. Students will receive community service learning hours for their time spent at KWAG.

From Downtown Charles Street terminal: take Route 8 (University via Weber) or route 30 on Frederick or route 4 on Weber.
