Every year, Expressions showcases student art from across Waterloo Region and highlights the perspectives and experiences of young artists in our community. This year, students responded to the theme Look Up, inspired by Emma Kreuzer’s The Moon Never Stays in One Place and Nishi Patel’s Watercolour Sky Focus. Encouraged to see celestial movement as a symbol of change, participating artists reflected on how they have moved, adapted and grown over the past year.

InSight is the culmination of an Artist in Residence program that connected students with local artist Brenda Reid. The results of their collaboration are featured in Expressions 47.
