Can I rent the gallery for a special event (i.e. corporate event, birthday party, etc.)?
Yes, we rent our space for a variety of special events. You can learn more about our space rentals here: KWAG Space Rentals.

We would first like to thank you for wanting to support the gallery. You can make a donation by visiting our Donate Page.

We'd love to have you as a member! You can choose the level of membership you desire and register online using our Membership Page. If you have any more questions about the memberships, please email the front desk Development Coordinator, Morgan Anderson manderson@kwag.on.ca for more information.

We appreciate your interest in exhibiting at our gallery. Please contact Curator, Exhibitions & Programs Darryn Doull at ddoull@kwag.on.ca for more information. Note that we are currently planning exhibitions three years in advance.

I have an artwork I am interested in donating to KWAG. What do I do?
Please contact Assistant Curator/Registrar Jennifer Bullock at jbullock@kwag.on.ca. When you send us information about the piece, please include your name, address, the title of the image, and a photograph of it as well.
Please do not bring artworks to the gallery unless explicitly instructed to do so. For reasons of security and public accountability, KWAG staff are not permitted to accept objects offered as potential donations.

Yes, we encourage you to register for an event so that we have a good idea of how many people to expect - this allows us to prepare accordingly. Thank you!

We encourage schools to visit our Education page or reach out to Education Coordinator, Monique Wozny to book a tour: mwozny@kwag.on.ca.

Do you run March Break or summer camps?
Yes, we do offer camps. Information for camps will be available to view on our Experience page/tab.

Can I touch the art at the gallery?
Please do not touch any art or objects on display at the gallery, unless you are invited to do so via signage or KWAG staff. Touch tours allow participants to touch art works up close; visit the Touch Tours page for details on upcoming tours.
- Can I take photos in the gallery?

Can I take photos at the gallery?
The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery allows flash-free photography on hand-held devices for personal use only, unless otherwise indicated. We ask that you respect the rights of the artists and their representatives under Canadian copyright law.
The following are not permitted:
• Commercial use and reproduction of any images taken at KWAG without express written permission of the copyright holder
• Tripods, selfie sticks or other equipment that may interfere with the artwork or other visitors
• Photography of any object, exhibition or gallery marked by signage indicating that photography is not permitted
• Film/video camerasKWAG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to restrict permission to photograph on its premises.
We encourage visitors to share their images of the Gallery on social media. Be sure to tag KWAG to share your visit.
