Family Sunday | March 2022

This month’s Family Sunday activities honour the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, coming up this month on 21 March. To combat racial discrimination, March Family Sunday celebrates diversity.

Follow the step-by-step instructions in our Family Sunday activity video and tell your story by creating an illustration about your unique family history, inspired by the Gallery’s recent acquisition of artwork by Deanna Bowen.

Join us on Sunday 20 March from 1-4 pm for a free drop-in Family Sunday event, and participate in activities that celebrate diversity and creativity while exploring our current exhibitions. Spend some time in our reading room with an assortment of books provided by our friends at Kitchener Public Library that honour the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March, and create a postcard for your favourite author or character! Families can keep the conversation going with a suggested book list provided by KW Little Free Diverse Libraries.
