My Lego diorama represents a snapshot of city life before and during COVID-19. Through one lens we see a bustling city where people move about and interact with each other without worry. Day to day life is business as usual as people are coming and going. The second scene captures the same city in the not so distant future where COVID-19 restrictions have impacted daily life. Unfortunately, through this lens we see that some stores had to close down while others are carefully following safety protocols. This lens shows people moving about the city in a different manner. Most people have stayed home and the people who have ventured out are wearing masks and distancing. People are working together to do their part so that we all can safely circle back to the first city scene, where COVID-19 is not a concern. The purpose of these two perspectives is to give hope and encouragement. Hope that we will return to normal, and encouragement that we are all doing our part to get us there.
